FORMED IN 2005 FROM AN IDEA
Formed in 2005, Mikcomm Communication was founded with a vision to provide the highest quality fibre optic technical services to Clients in Perth, WA. Building on the success of the original idea, Mikcomm expanded to a national format and expanded operations to include full turn key operations including civil construction and cable hauling.

STRATEGY
We pride ourselves on our excellent workmanship, competitive fees, and ability to deliver excellent results on time.
In order to achieve this, we continue to review, align ands improve our strategy to match market conditions and Client expectations.
We started out as a small, customer-oriented business, but with hard work and superior service we quickly grew into a leading national telecommunications construction company.
GOVERNANCE RISK AND COMPLIANCE
We have a mature integrated management system that is designed around the risk management principles of ISO35001.
We are currently undertaking certification to ISO9001, ISO45001 and ISO14001 which is scheduled to be completed early 2021.
We have a low appetite for risk due to the hazardous work that we undertake with civil construction and directional drilling.
OUR
COVID-19 RESPONSE
2020 threw its challenges to all of us. We responded in early April, developing risk management controls, business continuity plans and crisis response plans that were quickly put into action.
Some of our key initial actions were working from home, developing safe systems of work, procuring sufficient PPE to ride out the pandemic and communication to all personnel and subcontractors.
Mikcomm strategies were communicated to our clients who used some of our processes, documentation and literature to develop their own responses.
